X.Answer.AI is a Chrome extension that helps you draft replies and posts with AI.
This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.

Data we collect
- Account data: email address and name from Google sign-in.
- Subscription data: plan, billing status, and Stripe customer identifiers.
- Usage data: monthly generation counts and model usage logs.
- Content you provide: highlighted text, optional instructions, page title, and page URL when you generate a reply or post.
- Optional X connection: if you connect your X account, we store your X username and a limited set of recent public posts to match your writing style.
- Local settings: widget position, tone, and model preferences stored in Chrome local storage on your device.
How we use data
- Authenticate you and manage your subscription.
- Generate AI replies and posts based on the text and instructions you provide.
- Enforce plan limits and improve reliability.
- Process payments through Stripe.
Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication, database, and backend APIs.
- Stripe — subscription billing and customer portal.
- OpenAI / Anthropic — AI text generation (content you submit is sent to the selected provider).
- Google — sign-in via OAuth.
- X (Twitter) — optional account connection and public post retrieval.
Data retention
Account and subscription data are kept while your account is active.
Generation logs are stored for billing and abuse prevention.
You can disconnect your X account or delete your account by contacting us.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. API keys for AI providers are stored server-side only and are never included in the extension.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data.
